“Wrecks and Reefs, dive off Anglesey with SBS”
Anglesey is a great place to go diving, with so much to explore and discover. Let SBS RIB Charter be your guide to the best diving locations around Trearddur Bay. There are a number of notable wrecks in the area including the Norman Court which sank in 1883, The Primrose Hill, The Editor, The Hermine, The Havso and The Missouri. These make for fantastic diving opportunities and are mostly within a 15 minute RIB ride from the bay.
We also visit the scenic Southstack Cliffs and lighthouse and The Skerries which lie two miles (3 km) off Carmel Head on the north west corner of Anglesey. These windswept islands are inhabited by a large seal colony, teeming bird life, rabbits and a beautiful lighthouse which, for 270 years, was the home to many brave lighthouse keepers.
Both Trearddur Bay and Anglesey in general are popular areas for filming both wildlife and scenery both above and beneath the waves. We have years of experience taking film crews around the area and will be more than happy to discuss any specific requirements you have.
